Hi, my name is Allen Maddy and for the next two years, I will serve as your President of the St. Louis Region PCA. I’ve been a PCA member for 15 years and have served as a board member for the last four years. I also served as our Region Safety Chair where I provided Event Chairs with the required insurance documentation and reports. I grew up in the St. Louis area, and after attending college in Ohio, lived in Colorado and Nebraska, then headed back to Missouri in 1989. My wife Kim and I have enjoyed 3 Parades, 1 Escape and numerous regional Club events. Our son Aaron is a genuine Porsche fan and no doubt a future owner. In the real world, I am a Facilities Manager with the University of Missouri. My Porsche is a 2007 Cayman S after previously owning a 2000 Boxster and a 1985 944.
I want to thank Brian Johanningmeier for his last two years of service as well as the officers and Board members for their work. All the events members enjoy require considerable time and effort to “get it right” so we can show up and have fun. Our reward is knowing that everyone enjoyed their time with their fellow Porsche enthusiasts.
Our planning meeting on Dec. 9 involved preparing a calendar of our favorite standing events along with new events for 2016. Highlighting this coming year’s activities is the PCA Club Race at Gateway Motorsports Park on April 22-24. Dan Sokol and Geoff Baltz have been working over a year to organize this weekend event.
