With the official beginning of Spring on March 20, we can finally look forward to some enjoyable driving weather. And because of this, we start our March calendar with a tech session, two open houses, and a driving tour to our state capitol. On Saturday, March 4, the experts at Porsche St. Louis will be hosting a tech session for our Club. These are always a fun and informative way to learn more about the details of the newest Porsche models. Then on March 11, our club will be getting an exclusive tour of the high end exotics at St. Louis Motorcars in Chesterfield followed by a dinner at Ya Ya’s Euro Bistro. On March 25, Region member Jim Weddle will open his garage for a tour of his private collection that includes some very rare and valuable cars from Porsche, Ferrari and an eclectic mix of other road and race cars. To finish out the month of March, you can enjoy the season’s first driving tour with a trip to Jefferson City with lunch at Prison Brews pub and micro-brewery followed by a drive to the State Capitol Building and Museum containing an incredible collection of famous artwork. More details of these events are in this month’s Plauderei.
If you will be attending any of the driving tours with children under 18 years of age, please remember that PCA requires a separate responsibility waiver for minors that must be signed by both parents. To make it easier, you can complete the waiver ahead of time that will cover your child for the entire year. I highly recommend doing this. Please contact our Safety Chair Wade Bowlin at wadebowlin@gmail.com for more information.
I’m really looking forward to our events this Spring. See you at Porsche St. Louis on March 4th!
