Bio Ric Smith

I have been a PCA Member since 2014 and have been a passionate advocate of the brand ever since.  A former Ford Mustang guy, once I got to experience the joys of Porsche ownership and the people involved, I never looked back.  Formerly a member of the Kansas City Region PCA, we moved across the state and really enjoy living and working in the St. Louis area.  I am a PCA National instructor and have enjoyed teaching at several road courses around the country, where coaching and teaching Porsche owners is a real passion.  Raised in Northern California, I was fortunate to be brought up in the car business and have been in and around motorsports my entire life, and remain passionate to this day but with a Porsche bias!

Currently, in our Garage we have a 992 911 Carrera 4S Cab and my wife Wendy loves her 2021 Cayenne. We caught the Porsche fever and all in, as we have owned some 12 Porsche’s to date.  We have two fantastic teens, with one entering Mizzou and another finishing up at Marquette High School.  We live in the Ballwin area and are members and volunteers at Pathfinder Church and enjoy the community involvement.  Grateful to be a part of the St. Louis PCA Board and look forward to serving our fellow members to make their Porsche Club experience as rewarding as it can be.
